1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GoTelugu.in. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, applications, Chrome extension, and related services.

By accessing or using GoTelugu.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you are using GoTelugu.in on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

GoTelugu.in is an AI-powered Telugu writing and grammar platform that helps users write, edit, correct, translate, and manage Telugu content.

Our services may include:

• Telugu grammar check
• Telugu spell check
• AI rewrite and style improvement
• OCR for extracting text from images and documents
• Telugu voice typing
• Translation tools
• Document export in PDF and DOCX formats
• Cloud document storage
• Real-time collaboration through shareable links
• Chrome extension features

We may offer both Free and Pro plans.

The Free plan provides limited access to selected tools, including grammar check, spell check, and AI rewrite, subject to usage limits such as a 500 character per check cap on eligible free features.

The Pro plan is a paid recurring subscription currently priced at ₹499 per month and billed through our authorised payment partner. Pro users may receive access to enhanced or unlimited usage, including OCR, voice typing, translation, export, collaboration, cloud documents, and other premium writing features.

We may add, remove, improve, suspend, or modify features at any time.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Some features require an account.

GoTelugu.in uses email-based sign-in. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to provide accurate and current information.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining access to your email account
• ensuring your sign-in links are not misused
• activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our own fault or security failure

Please notify us promptly at support@gotelugu.in if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service, other users, or third parties.

4. Subscription, Billing and Refund Policy

GoTelugu Pro is currently offered as a recurring subscription for ₹499 per month.

Subscriptions are billed through our payment partner. By purchasing Pro, you authorise recurring charges using the payment method you approve during checkout.

Your Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that period ends.

Unless required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds for:

• partial months
• unused time
• mid-cycle cancellations
• failure to use the Service after purchase

If a recurring payment fails, we may retry the payment, suspend or downgrade Pro access, or limit access to paid features until payment is successfully completed.

We are not responsible for bank, card, UPI, or payment gateway failures outside our control.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use GoTelugu.in only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the platform, other users, or third parties.

You must not use GoTelugu.in to:

• generate spam, phishing, scams, or deceptive communications
• create unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or infringing content
• scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically extract data from the platform
• abuse free-tier limits or create multiple accounts to bypass usage restrictions
• attempt unauthorised access to our systems, APIs, databases, or user accounts
• upload malware, malicious code, or harmful files
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the platform or any private API access without our written permission
• use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or platform security rules

We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate access where necessary.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the text, documents, and other content you submit to GoTelugu.in.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process, store, and transmit your content only as needed to operate the Service, provide requested features, improve reliability, ensure security, and comply with law.

GoTelugu.in, including its software, design, branding, interface, models, workflows, and original content, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

AI-generated suggestions, rewrites, and outputs are provided as a tool to assist users. You may use outputs generated for your content, subject to these Terms and any applicable law. We do not transfer ownership of the platform, underlying systems, prompts, or service logic.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

GoTelugu.in uses AI to generate grammar suggestions, rewrites, translations, and other outputs.

These outputs may not always be accurate or complete. They are not professional, legal, academic, or official advice.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving the final content you choose to use, send, publish, submit, or share.

8. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using GoTelugu.in, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with that policy.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data, the Privacy Policy will govern for data-processing issues.

9. Chrome Extension Specific Terms

If you use the GoTelugu Chrome extension:

• the extension may process text you actively select or submit from third-party webpages
• that text may be sent to our systems and service providers to perform the requested feature
• you must have the right to process that content
• you must not use the extension to collect, scrape, or process third-party content unlawfully
• we are not responsible for the content, availability, or security of third-party websites

We may suspend extension access if it is used in violation of these Terms, Chrome Web Store policies, or applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoTelugu.in is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-accurate service.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or content errors caused by reliance on AI-generated suggestions.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoTelugu.in, its founders, operators, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

This applies only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of GoTelugu.in will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by updating the date at the top of the page, posting a notice on the website, or sending account-related communication where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
